City of Angola Water Sources
Angola 's water supply comes from ground water via nine wells with a total capacity of 8.4 MGD.
Six well serving the W. Mill St. plant have a withdrawal capacity of 2550 gpm.
Rated capacity of wells: #2 - 300 gpm, #4 - 300 gpm, #6 - 150 gpm, #8 - 400 gpm, #9 - 500 gpm and #10 - 900 gpm. The depths of these well range from 93' to 186'.
The three wells serving the satellite treatment plant have a withdrawal capacity of 3000 gpm. Rated capacity of wells: #1S - 600 gpm, #2S - 1200 gpm and #3S - 1200 gpm. The depth of these wells range from 87' to 126'.
